Ripshin Goat Dairy is located in the Yadkin River Valley midway between Lenoir and Blowing Rock, NC on a farm that has been in our family for six generations. It is named for the mountain range that parallels the river. We raise beautiful Saanen dairy goats on natural pasture and forages, and we farm using ecologically sound agricultural practices. Our handmade farmstead goat cheeses are sold at nearby farmer's markets and on the farm. Kidding occurs in February and our does raise their own kids for eight to ten weeks; then we milk and make cheese from April through November.
